Testimonials

Amy is one of our industry's top creative problem solvers. What truly sets her and Pink Among Men apart is their wholehearted investment in the creative vision of each film. They provide the logistics you need to tell your story in exactly the way you want to tell it.

Working with Amy has not only enhanced the quality of my films but has also expanded my horizons as an independent storyteller. They have connected me with invaluable resources and talent, streamlined our production processes, and consistently pushed us to explore new creative territories. Don't waste your time partnering with a production company who won't act like a genuine partner. Amy and PAM have your back when it matters most.

- Ernest Anemone, writer, director, SAG actor - “The Last Fool” and “Family Affair”

Amy is truly the first person I hire for new projects or recommend for any opportunity when folks ask. I've brought her on to line produce full seasons of linear and streaming game shows, children's shows, to help with development, digital content, and to represent the network at the Super Bowl.

I trust her to work with our most important partners and highest executives. Our very first project together she ran production of a 24 episode union game show series, that shot in five days, with over 100 minors, during the height of Covid restrictions. It was a huge success. She can fit in any environment, is professional and personable, creates and stays on budgets, and can lead independently yet communicatively. As a network executive, I need people running my shows that are on top of their game and work well with all sorts of personalities. This is exactly how I would define Amy.

-  Kate Brennan, Executive in Charge of Production, Nickelodeon

Amy DePaola is one of those generous multi-hyphenates that doesn't come along very often. When it comes to supporting women and underrepresented groups in the entertainment industry, she walks the walk and talks the talk.

We had the pleasure of working with Amy and Pink Among Men on the dark comedy short Tiki Bar Funeral Home. From the page, to pre-production, to production, and post, Amy allowed for flexibility within her vision and always listened to our input. We finished the experience feeling excited for the film to premiere, and went on to have a very well-received festival run kicked off by Dances With Films.

As a director, producer, writer, and collaborator, Amy exhibits immense range and intentionality in her projects.

But the secret blessing of collaborating with Amy and Pink Among Men is her generosity in all aspects of the process. Political issues on set? Non-existent. The best crafty? Absolutely. Problems with assigning proper credits? Never. Need insurance coverage on an indie? Done.

There’s a professional ease to Amy that hasn’t hatched from her extensive credits, which she has in spades, but instead comes directly from Amy herself. Her personal integrity has created the reputational pillar that is Pink Among Men.

After moving to Los Angeles from NYC, we consider Amy one of our "people" and we are grateful to be in her orbit. We are looking forward to working with her and Pink Among Men again in the near future.
