Pink is Loud. Pink is Proud. Pink is Fun. Pink is not afraid to be what and who it is. That’s how we define pink; what do you think of when you think of the color Pink?
The name developed from founder Amy DePaola’s own experience of being the only woman on set; in development; in the office, several times over again. The assumptions and stigmas that came with being the only woman were endless. In mid 2017, Amy turned her frustrations into art. Beginning with an audio project prompting others with the question “what do you think of when you think of the color pink?’ launched the podcast of the same name. And with power comes privilege. It is now Pink Among Men’s privilege to lift up the voices and stories of others with production, PR, strategy, marketing and artist development services.
